From Religion to Relationship, Feast of Pentecost

Last week was the Feast of Pentecost, June 12-13, which is found in Exodus 19-20 and Acts 2.

In Exodus 19 when Yah showed up on Mt Sinai the people feared God and told Moses to worship for them.

Sadly, this is for the most part a picture of the American church today. Pastor get a word for us and Worship Leader entertain and or worship for us.

Afterwords the people went back to their camp And worshipped their idol(s).

Religion is a model where we hire people to do the Spiritual work for us, clergy and the congregation. We make division between spiritual and secular. We do spiritual things on Sunday and we do the secular thing the rest of the week.

Moses Tabernacle, where the priest offer the sacrifices for the people.

In Acts 2 when Holy Spirit(Ruach HaKodesh) fell on the disciples and people had gathered from all the known world, obeying Yah’s command tho go to Jerusalem for His Feast of Pentecost, they heard the Gospel message in their own dialect. They were amazed and marvelled (wondered with admiration) at the glory of God’s presence.

They took the Gospel of Yeshua with them back to their homes and the world was changed.

The outporing of Holy Ghost was a major shift in focus from Moses Tabernacle to David’s Tabernacle. Where the Holy Ghost filled the individuals Temple. Where it was not just on the priest but the priesthood of believers.

In David’s Tabernacles worship was 24/7. All four sides were opened for anyone to experience Yah’s Holy Presence through the sacrifice of praise.

From a sacrificial system of animal sacrifices to one of individual surrender, with repentance and sacrificial praise and worship.

May you experience Yah’s weighty, precious, and His Shekinah Glory as we press in during the summer months between Pentecost and Tabernacles. Shalom Shalom!
